Eyes to See and Ears to Hear ~ AWE

This week I’ve been leaning into the "Awe Mindset", something I practice in my work as a FlowCode mentor, but also something I use to navigate life.

For me, it’s about stepping out of the busy, overthinking conscious mind and into the subconscious, where things feel lighter, with more joy, more creativity, and less stress.

What if we reminded ourselves to look at things with fresh eyes? Like a child seeing something for the very first time, with awe and wonder. It’s funny how just shifting your perspective like that can completely change the way you approach a challenge!

A lot of my conversations this week have circled around “missing pieces”, whether in programs, business strategies, or even our own lives. I notice how easy it is to push and force things forward, trying to think our way into a solution, but when we do that, we often ignore our intuition and forget that there’s already a divine path mapped out for us.

Have you ever had one of those moments where you overplanned something, thought through every detail, and it still didn’t work out? Those times usually come with repeating patterns that don't serve us well.

What if we just trusted more and controlled less?

When I do that, I notice my mental “bandwidth” clears up. Neuroscience calls this BITs (Behavioural Influence Triggers), basically, all the thoughts, emotions, sensations, and stimuli our brain is trying to process at once. When we’re overloaded, we feel unfocused and/or stuck.

This is where flow rituals, breathwork, and little daily triggers come in. They help us reset, come back to the present moment, and find clarity again.
